Maui:Day 5- Haleakala Volcano Crater

We got up early and headed catch our bus to take us up to the top of the Haleakala Volcano Crater. After everyone was picked from their hotels, we went to the bike place and signed our life's away as we would be riding a bike down the the road from the volcano. I was a little nervous, but it wasn't bad at all and i wish i could have gone faster down the mountain, but the girl in front of me was riding on the brakes and we weren't suppose to pass anyone. we made a few stops and our leader kept asking who  was being slow, but the girl never fessed up until the last stop, she really wasn't riding the brakes, they were just tight and needed to be loosened. It was still fun and something you don't get to do everyday.

The drive up to the volcano

That is the big island, Hawaii

When we got to the bottom, we went into a small town and had lunch and shopped.
This was the closest to mexican food we could find.

Found this Christmas ornament when we were shopping, of course I bought it.

Sun setting on our 5th day

The sun is down and the water is smooth. This is the sailboat we will be going on tomorrow night
