First District Football Game

First district game and we got the win!

I had been thinking about my dad all day and was even teary eyed selling football tickets.
At the game a lady came up to me and asked if I wanted some candy, I looked in the bag and saw Tootsie Rolls, or Badgers, as my dad called them. I felt a hug from heaven when I saw these.

Jacob coming out of the locker room after half time and proud dad behind him!

Yes mom, I see you taking my picture

And we got a smile!

Back to reality

Just like last year, I am in charge of selling football tickets and getting others to sell on other parts of the campus. I was bored and was wishing I was back in Hawaii.
The picture I snap chatted to Brittney
"Time to sell the tickets"

Locker room

More locker room decorations
Some weekly award Jacob got

All the pads were sitting out to dry since we had rain, and all the wet football equipment,
made for an even smellier  locker room

Back in Texas

We reached Dallas in the morning and had a layover, we then caught our flight to Houston and arrived home in the afternoon.

Back in Houston and traveling home.
I guess these palm trees will have to do until our next Hawaiian trip.

Maui: Day 6 Air and Sea

Today we traveled by helicopter and boat. We took a helicopter tour over parts of Maui and then over to the island of Molokai. We saw many magnificent waterfalls, that you really can only see by air. All the pictures we took did not do it justice, also there was reflections off the windows and you could  our yellow life jackets that were around our waste. Luckily, they video taped our flight with commentary from the pilot and we purchased it.
After the flight we headed back to the hotel and hung out at the beach for awhile. That night we took a sunset cruise on a sailboat. it was fun to just relax and watch the sunset from the ocean.

Glad we did not have to use these!

Can't believe I am on a helicopter
