Time is Valuable

Yesterday I went to Target to get a few items. Got in line, but I got in the wrong one. The lady in front of me didn't have that many items, got them all scanned and she handed the cashier her coupons....that's what went wrong. Her 50 cent off coupon was for Colgate toothpaste, not Colgate Total plus whitening, which she had purchased and the computer would not accept it. She said she had another coupon. She pulls out a Ziploc bag and thumbs through at least 100 coupons and no Colgate coupon, then she pulls out another Ziploc bag and thumbs through yet another 100 coupons. By this time the cashier got a manager who let her get her 50 cents off which I was glad because she had yet another bag of coupons. I'm all for saving money, especially now days, but please check your coupons and have them organized, because my time is also valuable and doesn't need to be wasted. If you care to know it takes almost 10 minutes to thumb through 200+ coupons. I don't have anything against using coupons, I even use them.

He he.

These days I feel the same way when someone writes a check.

That's so irritating!

Now that I think about it, I should have just given her 50 cents to quit going through the coupons!

I am a total coupon cutter, but at some point you have to realize it's just not worth it!! That is super irritating!

I have no problem with the coupons, just be a little bit organized. I think I was more ticked off because she didn't even care she was holding the line up or even aknowledge anyone was behind her. A simple sorry would have done!
