Mother's Day 2013

My Mother's Day started on Saturday when I received flowers from Brittney and Matthew. I was touched that they took the time to do that for me and the flowers are beautiful!
On Sunday I was showered with cards, candy and a new iPad since mine broke and the Apple store says they can't fix it. I have missed my iPad!
We went to church and enjoyed the meeting and the Primary kids singing (I was happy that I wasn't having to play the piano for it). I also got to hold little Bobby Park during Sacrament Meeting since his mom had to speak. That made me happy! Went to Primary, but just to Sharing Time, they had men teaching the last hour, so Dale volunteered for my class. Way to go Dale, especially since he teaches Sunday School also. I gave him the lesson and then folded some cardstock in half so the kids could make their mom's a card and sent envelopes for them to put the cards in. Dale thought the cardstock was the envelopes and had given the kids just a plain piece of paper. When he realized that, and seeing there was a lot of extra time, He told the kids, now that they had done their practice card they could put it on the real card, quick thinking, but he is an engineer!
We came home and ate, then I set up my iPad while everyone else took a nap. I called my mom and talked to her. I missed a call on my cell phone and there was a message on it from Brittney's Bishop. It was the nicest message.Bishop Sharp called and told me that Brittney had giving an amazing talk in Sacrament Meeting and she really brought the Spirit to the meeting. He said she cried as she described her love and appreciation for me. If that's not a great gift, I don't know what is. Thank you Bishop Sharp for calling me. Later we Skyped with Matthew and Brittney.
It was a wonderful day full of wonderful thoughts from my family. I love them all and am so thankful to have Dale and our 4 wonderful children in my life!
