I was in Nauvoo, Illinois when I found out my Dad was going into Hospice care and also that he passed away,and this was all within a 12 hour period. I flew out of St Louis and my niece Jyl picked me up and took me to my mom's house.I felt bad that I did not make it home before my dad passed, but knowing my dad, he would have wanted me there with the youth fulfilling my church responsibilities. We sat at my mom's house, made phone calls and shared memories. My nephew Brandon and brother-in-law Thad finally got rid of the pink toilet in my mom's house!
