District Track Meet

It was a nice sunny day for a track meet, not too hot or windy! It was even nicer for Makenzie to come out of the meet with both 1st place in shot put and discus. She got a new PR in shot put with a throw of 39' 6 3/4" .Makenzie was a little off in discus, but was able to pull off a win by a foot. She went into the finals in second place and on her last throw jumped out ahead, then the other girl threw and almost caught up to her, but luckily she didn't.  Jacob was able to come to this meet and our friend Cindy Morris also came and supported Makenzie.
