Hawaii Day One

On July 1st we left for Hawaii. We almost had a tragedy, Makenzie left her phone in the car. Dale was nice enough to catch a shuttle back to the car and retrieve it for her. Dale didn't have any cash on him, so he got the driver's address so we could repay him. We left Houston at 11 am and flew to Dallas. We left Dallas at 1 pm. We barely made our connection. We arrived in Honolulu, Hawaii at 4:30 pm their time.It was a 8 hour flight from Dallas to there. We got our rental car/mini van and stopped and ate at Big Kahuna's Pizza and headed to the hotel. After we checked in, we went down to Waikiki beach and walked around. The sun goes down early there, around 7:15ish. Hawaii is 5 hours behind Texas.
