Another persoal best!!!

Makenzie got a personal best in discus, 108'11",  at her meet and that was good enough for 4th place. There were two really good discus throwers and the girl who got 3rd only beat her by a foot and a half. She also placed 3rd in shot put against some really tough competition. She keeps improving each week!

We are riding in the back of Dale's truck back to the stadium.
The shot and discus was a ways from the main stadium, so we gave the coach a ride back
and that gave us the opportunity to ride in back, since you can't do that anymore.

Getting a personal best wears you out, or maybe it a the fact that she left the school at 6am and the meet
 didn't start till 9 and she wasn't finished until 12:30pm and she was sunburned.
